HOW LONG WILL MY INJURY CASE TAKE?

Ray Critchett April 18, 2014

The length of a case depends more on the client and their injuries than any other factor.

If the client continues to have pain and discomfort for a year and they ultimately undergo surgery, their case is going to take a lot longer than another client who suffered minor injuries the resolved after a few months of physical therapy.

Generally, I advise my clients not to try and settle their case until their health has fully recovered and/or until they have reached a plateau in their recovery.

If they have reached a plateau or if they are at a point where their medical professionals can determine what course of treatment they will need in the future, then we can move forward and try to resolve the case at that time.

For a short answer, the length of a case in generally determined by the time it takes a client to recover from their injuries.

Call me, it won’t cost you anything to see if I can help.
